IT seems some King Street traders need a reality check.

They object to pedestrian priority as the work would take a few weeks to complete and they believe that would have a negative effect on their businesses.

They object to King Street being worn out and now they’ve objected to a quick fix job to repair the pot holes.

Has it not occurred to them that a full resurfacing job would have meant the road would be closed for around a week (depending on weather conditions)?

It might interest some Knutsford traders that some Manchester traders have seen new customers as a result of road closures for Metrolink works as people notice businesses they would miss from a moving vehicle when they walk past instead.
