EGERTON FC go into a massive contest on Saturday on the back of a win.

The Yellows, third from bottom in the Cheshire Football League Premier Division, visit Garswood United who are one place and three points behind them currently in one of the two automatic relegation positions.

Egerton, who have won four of their 13 league games so far, go into the contest on the back of a 2-1 win at Sale Amateurs in the Altrincham FA Senior Cup first round at the weekend.

Amir Morcos scored both of their goals.

Meanwhile, Knutsford FC will hope to return to action on Saturday after two weeks of postponements due to flooded pitches.

They have not played since a poor 4-1 loss at Daten on October 28.

Reds sit fifth on the League One ladder, a point off second place and seven points off leaders Upton JFC with a game in hand.

They are due to visit Middlewich Town Reserves in the group stage of the Mid Cheshire FA Cup on Saturday, kick-off 2pm.

Styal FC will also be in knockout action on Saturday.

They secured an impressive point away to Cheshire League One leaders Upton last time out, on October 28, when Cameron Hargreaves netted.

Styal will be hoping to go one better when they head to Broadheath Central Reserves in the Altrincham FA Senior Cup first round, kick-off 2pm.
