MERE A have not been able to maintain their strong start to the Knutsford and District Amateur Snooker League season.

They topped the table only three weeks ago but they have now lost their last three matches, the latest of which was a 5-2 reverse against Mobberley B.

Life member Dave Rainford rolled back the years with a tremendous 120 points in his frame for Mobberley, the fourth player over week eight of the campaign to score 100+ points.

Last year's winners faced this year's pace setters as Tatton A travelled to Mobberley C.

It was Mobberley's C team that came out on top with a 5-2 win to extend their lead at the top of the table.

Mike Roylance set the tone for Mobberley with a fine 37 break in his frame.

Morley Green are in second place following a big 6-1 victory against Wilmslow Cons A.

Arthur Faux starred for Morley with a brilliant 115 point frame.

Shaw Heath remain in a strong position following their 4-3 win against winless Mere B, for whom Allan Jackson had 100+ points in his frame.

The 2021/2022 winners Shaw Heath sit third, four points behind the leaders but with a game in hand.

Heald Green's strong start to life in the KADASL continues as they comfortably beat Mobberley A 5-2 despite another strong showing from Mobberley's Bruce Tulley, who knocked in a 43 break in his 100 point frame.

There was also a Tatton derby as the C team defeated the B team 6-1, a result that moves the C team up to seventh in the table.
