MOBBERLEY duo Steve Flinders and Paul Adkin were comfortable winners in the Knutsford and District Amateur League's JME Pairs final at Victory Hall on Wednesday.

They were ruthless in punishing misses by opponents Gary Long and Bob Jones, of Brook Street A, to win by 71 points.

Earlier, Flinders and Adkin had edged past clubmates Paul Hodson and Chris McNeil by a much narrower 15-point margin, while Mere duo Tom and John Jackson never got going against Long and Jones.
