KNUTSFORD remain top of the Warrington and District Summer League’s Division One despite losing narrowly Beechwood on Wednesday.
The pacesetters lost 27-25 to leave them one point clear of their closest rivals.
Meanwhile the second team’s lead in Division Two has also been trimmed to a single point after they suffered a slender 24-22 defeat at the hands of promotion rivals Halton Krystalz seconds.
Knutsford’s fourths put pressure on Divison Four’s leading teams following a 23-8 win against Saints thirds, promoting them to within a point of table-topping Greenbank seconds.
In the same section, Knutsford’s fifths enjoyed a 25-7 victory at Beechwood thirds’ expense.
Each of the club’s teams conclude their respective campaigns tonight, Wednesday.
