Knutsford B defeated Chelford B to win the Knutsford Friday League’s Team Knockout title at Warford Park on Sunday
KNUTSFORD B were victors in the Knutsford Friday League Team Knockout final on Sunday, beating Division Two rivals Chelford B.
They overturned an eight-chalk handicap deficit to win by 16 at Warford Park, where each of the four semi finalists were from the league’s second tier.
Chelford A lost to Knutsford B, while Chelford B progressed at Oughtrington B’s expense.
Victory Hall A maintain an 11-chalk lead at the Division One summit after winning at back-markers Cranford B.
Railway A were similarly comfortable victors at Warford Park B, while champions Knutsford A kept alive their hopes of defending the title by beating Cranford A.
