A MAN died after a branch fell from a tree and hit him on the head in Wilmslow, an inquest heard.
Kamil Pawlowski was walking in The Carrs Park last July with his partner when the incident happened.
The 35-year-old, of Wilmslow, was walking on a footpath on July 26, which leads to Kings Road, when he was struck by the falling branch.
Emergency services attended the scene where Mr Pawlowski was tragically pronounced dead.
An inquest into Mr Pawlowski’s death was heard before Warrington Coroner’s Court in January.
Here, a medical cause of death was provided by assistant coroner Charlotte Keighley.
Ms Keighley said that Mr Pawlowski, a project manager, died due to a ‘massive head injury’.
His death was ruled as an accident.
