A BOWLS club has reopened, to the delight of members.

The crown green bowls club at Warford Park, Mobberley, is back in action following a few months of misunderstanding that the club was permanently closed.

To celebrate, 31 people gathered at the club at the weekend - some seasoned bowlers along with newcomers.

The door is open for others to join.

Whether you are a novice player, a rusty returner or just fancy a bowl, you will be made welcome.

Haven't got woods (bowls)? There are plenty on hand at the club, where the emphasis is on having fun and socialising.

Membership for the season is £30. Alternatively, non-members pay £5 per visit. For further information contact andreadale17@gmail.com
