TWO cyclists hope to ride 1,700 miles on a virtual trip to Gibraltar to make a difference to the lives of the people they care for.
Lysiane Gilmour and Lynne Morrilly, both from Knutsford, will be tackling the challenge to raise funds for a tiny tablet.
This interactive device has been specifically designed to help elderly and dementia residents enjoy music, games and make zoom calls.

The pair, both in their mid 50s, work at MHA The Willows in Mobberley.
The idea to travel to Gibraltar was inspired by the forthcoming coronation as Gibraltar was the first country to issue stamps with the King Charles’ cypher.
Landmarks such as London, Paris, Bordeaux and Madrid will be marked to motivate the duo as they complete their journey over the next six months.
The pair aim to cycle at least 60 miles a week.
Lysiane Gilmour, an administration manager, said: “ I did a walking challenge last year and really enjoyed it and wanted to go that bit further this time.
“With the cost of living affecting people like myself, I decided to buy a bike and cycle to work.
“The journey from my house to work is eight miles.
“I want to use the trips to not only get fit but as an opportunity to raise funds and that's how the idea came about.”
CPASE on Warford Park has loaned the cyclists a static bike to make it a team event.
Lynne Morrilly, who works as an activity coordinator, said “It will be great if we can raise the funds as it will be the first tiny tablet for the home.
“Exercise is something that makes us all feel better and especially now with the weather getting better it gives you a reason to exercise.
“We have only just started the challenge and it's been a little tricky.
“But we are both confident we will get the hang of it and achieve what we have set out to do.”
