A HOLMES Chapel restaurant has joined a group of local businesses to support #superheroMC and help raise money for healthcare providers in mid Cheshire.
Don Alberto Italian Restaurant, in Macclesfield Road, has joined with businesses from Northwich, Middlewich, Crewe and Cheadle to raise money for Mid Cheshire Hospitals Charity.
On Saturday, July 1, staff at the restaurant will show their support by donning superhero costumes and taking part in fundraising activities.
The Guardian will also be joining in the charity event, and businesses, schools, groups and individuals are being encouraged to take part in any way possible.
Laura Riddle, Mid Cheshire Hospitals Charity manager, said: “We are so passionate about making a difference and with having such successful businesses on board, I am sure we will make this fundraising event out of this world”. Laura continues “It is a fantastic opportunity for anyone who wants to make a difference to join, and raise money for a fantastic cause whilst enjoying the day of fun activities. We’d like to say a big thank you to everyone who will join in”.
There will be prizes awarded for the most innovative event, best use of social media and most funds raised.
Recommended activities include selfie-hour and cake bakes and sponsorship #superheroMC pledge packs are also available online at mchcharity.org.
In the past 12 months Mid Cheshire Hospitals Charity has funded numerous pieces of equipment, through fund raising activities, charitable donations and legacies.
