Firefighters were called to the footway from Moorside to Church Walk this morning
A SKIP fire in Knutsford is believed to have been started deliberately.
Emergency services were called to the footway from Moorside to Church Walk just before 5am this morning.
Firefighters managed to extinguish the skip fire, which they believe was started deliberately.
A spokesman for Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service said: “Firefighters tackled a fire in a skip in Knutsford. It is believed the fire was started deliberately and police were asked to attend.
“Anyone with any information is asked to call Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111 or Cheshire Police on 101.”
