Highlights as they unfold: The Royal Cheshire Show attracts thousands once again to Tabley Showground

Our live feed has now finished.

  • THE Cheshire Show is back at Tabley Showground for two days of all things Cheshire, attracting thousands of visitors from across the country.
  • Luckily the weather has held off so far and the ground, although reasonably soft underfoot, is not a treacherous 'skid-zone'.
  • One of the highlights of the show so far has been the 'Atkinson Action Horses' group; a number of specially trained men and women who perform daring and downright dangerous tricks on horses for TV and film.
  • The show- which took place in the main ring, involved the talented stuntspeople cantering and galloping around the area on horseback, whilst performing tricks such as flips, standing on the horseback, and dangling from the side of the saddle at full speed.
  • It went down well, with the audience gasping in amazement and breaking into applause after every trick.
