A KNUTSFORD choir has raised £160 for The Christie by hosting an open rehearsal with cheese and wine for guests.
The Catenian and Friends male choir, founded by a small group of members of The Catenian Association in 2014 and led by professional musicians Joan and Alan Dean, gathered on Tuesday May 10 for the fundraiser.
More than 50 guests and friends of the association attended the evening at the old squash club on Sparrow Lane and donations were made to raise funds for The Christie Hospital.
The event was in preparation for a larger fundraiser which will take place at St Vincent de Paul in September.
