MEMBERS of the public are invited to hear more about plans for a new water sports and adventure park in Chelford and give their feedback.

One of the brains behind Cheshire Lakes, Tim Woodhead from Pickmere, is inviting people to attend a public consultation to give more information about the proposal ahead of sending in a planning application.

If the plans go ahead, Cheshire Lakes will be built on the site of a disused quarry in Chelford, which has been filled with water since its closure.

According to Tim, the site will welcome up to 50 jobs, including full-time, part-time and seasonal, as well as offering alternative leisure facilities for people of all ages.

The consultation will take place on Thursday, February 11 at Chelford Village Hall from 12pm to 8pm.
