COMEDIAN Justin Moorhouse has donated a two metre high cow sculpture to Knutsford based charity Children’s Adventure Farm Trust.

The colourful object, called No.1 Balloon Street, was won by Moorhouse at an auction after raising thousands of pounds for Key 103’s Cash for Kids charity back in 2004.

Since then, the sculpture has been kept at Key 103’s radio studios, but a recent refurbishment has meant that the cow needed to find a new home.

Moorhouse said: “When I heard that my lovely cow needed a new home I thought of the Adventure Farm immediately.

"I’ve been involved with the charity for many years and am always ‘moooved’ by what they do for children from our region.”

Moorhouse has been a long-standing supporter of the charity and knew his cow would fit in at the Trust.

Helen Crowther, CAFT fundraiser, said: “Justin is so supportive of what we do, he regularly aids our fundraising and spreads the word about the amazing work we do here at CAFT.

“It was no surprise therefore when he called me concerning a donation, but what I wasn’t expecting was that it would be a cow!”

The trust gratefully accepted Moorhouse’s offer and were relieved to discover that this particular cow was fairly low maintenance.
