ART-lovers across the country will be able to enjoy a sneak-peek of The Tabley House Collection from the comfort of their own homes.
This week, in partnership with the BBC and The Picture Catalogue Foundation, The Tabley House Collection launched its first digital ‘Director’s Cut’.
The ‘Director’s Cut’ is a slideshow selection of the finest paintings in the collection, alongside details about the 1st Lord de Tabley’s relationship with the art he collected.
As an additional project to The Picture Catalogue Foundation and the BBC’s ‘Your Paintings’ project, the team at Tabley hope to further the reach of the collection and tell the story of one of the first major collectors of British Art, Sir John Fleming Leicester.
The ‘Director’s Cut’ will be available to view for the next two weeks. Visit bbc.co.uk/arts/yourpaintings
